The name Avant D’art draws inspiration from the double meaning of “avant-garde” not only as a cultural vanguard, but also in the sense of moving ahead, clearing the path, and pioneering collective awareness. As French philosopher Henri de Saint-Simon declared:

“We artists will serve you as the avant-garde… fulfilling a sacred function by shaping the consciousness of an era.”
